As the world rapidly evolves, ProWein positions itself for the future by connecting professionals and consumers
The 2026 ProWein International Wine Exhibition took place from March 15 to 17 in Düsseldorf, attracting 3,400 exhibitors from 63 countries and 31,000 professional buyers and industry representatives from 105 countries.
1. France: Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux
The French "Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux" showcased its latest vintage wines. Germany and Austria joined forces to exhibit together in Hall 1.
2.Italy: Hall 3
Italian regions such as Puglia, Tuscany, Calabria, Valpolicella, Piedmont, Lugana, Valdobbiadene, Brescia, Prosecco DOC, and Monferrato established joint booths to highlight their unique offerings.
3.Portugal: Hall 7a
Portuguese wine regions, including ViniPortugal, Tejo Wines, Vinho Verde, and Beira Wines, were represented through collaborative booths.
4. Spain: Hall 6
Spain showcased its major wine regions, including Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Valencia, and the debut appearance of Toro.
5. Central and Eastern Europe: Hall 3
Countries such as Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Moldova, and Turkey were all present with national pavilions. Montenegro and Azerbaijan made their debut appearances, while Georgia, Cyprus, and North Macedonia returned to compete on the international stage.
6. New World Wine Regions
New World wine regions such as Argentina, Chile, New Zealand, South Africa, California, Brazil, Japan, and China's Ningxia Helan Mountain East Foothills Wine Region participated. The Ningxia region was represented by eight boutique wineries.
